Efficient engines
The 2021 Jeep Wrangler offers automotive consumers a great selection of engine options. This is the first time that the Wrangler has four engines to choose from. The Standard 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 is Canada's best-selling engine and produces 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. Paired with a smooth-shifting 6-speed transmission, this powertrain will be a ton of fun. A turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder is your next option, a compact yet torquey engine; it offers great acceleration and fuel efficiency. It pushes out 270 horsepower and an astonishing 295 lb-ft of torque. The Pentastar V6 can also be offered with an automatic but adds another layer of efficiency. Hybrid e-Torque technology is standard on the Wranglers' third engine option; not only does it provide greater efficiency but a more responsive drive. The last engine option is the third-generation 3.0-litre EcoDiesel with ESS (engine start-stop technology). The EcoDiesel is the most powerful option for the Wrangler as it produces 260 horsepower and a mind-bending 442 lb-ft of torque.
